Sawatdee ka from Putney, Vermont! (That means “hello” in Thai).

We are here at the Barn, home of Putney Student Travel, planning our activities and excursions for an amazing upcoming summer! It’s time to get excited for “the land of smiles,” which is filled with incredible people, food, and sights. While Bangkok is the most well-known and largest city, we are fortunate to be starting our journey in what is considered Thailand’s cultural capital: Chiang Mai.

We can’t wait to meet you in just a few short weeks. Pack your sunglasses and get ready to embrace the heat—both the weather and the food! Before you know it, we will be eating Thai chilies and befriending elephants together.
